Royal Rumble (1995) was the eighth annual Royal Rumble. It took place on January 22, 1995, in the USF Sun Dome located in Tampa, Florida. The main event was the 1995 Royal Rumble match, which Shawn Michaels won after entering first and outlasting the 29 other wrestlers for the first time in WWF history. The event also featured a match for the WWF Championship, when Diesel defended the title against Bret Hart. Two other title matches took place; Jeff Jarrett won the WWF Intercontinental Championship from Razor Ramon, and The 1–2–3 Kid and Bob Holly won the final match in a tournament that determined the new WWF Tag Team Champions.

Starrcade (1995): World Cup of Wrestling took place on December 27, 1995 from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The main event would feature "Macho Man" Randy Savage defending the WCW World heavyweight Championship against the winner of a #1 contender's match between Lex Luger, Sting, and Ric Flair. A "World Cup of Wrestling" match was held between the USA's Sting and Japan's Kensuke Sasaki, and was advertised as an international showdown. Prior to his title defense, Randy Savage was matched against Hiroyoshi Tenzan in a single's match. Other matches included Jushin Liger vs Chris Benoit, Lex Luger vs Masahiro Chono, Johnny B. Badd vs Masa Saito, Eddie Guerrero vs Shinjiro Otani, and Alex Wright vs Koji Kanemoto.

Goldust versus Bam Bam Bigelow and Bertha Faye, Aja Kong, Tomoko Watanabe and Lioness Asuka versus Alundra Blayze, Kyoko Inoue, Sakie Hasegawa and Chaparita Asari in a four-on-four elimination match.

The main event that was for the WWF Championship competed between Diesel and King Mabel. There were three matches on the undercard that had more build-up than other matches: The Undertaker Vs Kama in a Casket match; Bret Hart Vs Isaac Yankem, and Shawn Michaels versus Razor Ramon in a feud for the WWF Intercontinental Championship.

World War 3 was an annual PPV event produced by WCW. The PPV's title also was the name of its signature match, a three-ring, sixty-man battle royal. The inaugural World War 3 match was contested for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, which had been stripped from The Giant due to the outcome of his match with Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc '95. Other matches included Ric Flair vs Sting, Lex Luger vs Randy Savage, Kensuke Sasaki defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Chris Benoit, Big Bubba Rogers vs Jim Duggan, and Johnny B. Badd defending he WCW World TV Championship against Diamond Dallas Page. WCW released the World War 3 events on home video the following year, with the packaging for the first three releases reflecting the year that the video was released and not the year that the actual event took place, e.g. World War 3 1995 was released on VHS as World War 3 '96.

Breaking Point is a Canadian documentary film, released in 2005. Aired on CBC Television in English and on Télévision de Radio-Canada in French and released to mark the tenth anniversary of the 1995 Quebec sovereignty referendum, the film explored the dynamics of the referendum campaign through interviews with and news clips of several of the major players on both sides of the debate. The two-part film aired on SRC in September 2005, and on CBC in October. It has also been released on DVD.
The Condor Heroes 95 is a Hong Kong television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel The Return of the Condor Heroes. It was first broadcast on TVB Jade in Hong Kong in 1995. Many of the cast from The Legend of the Condor Heroes reprised their roles in this series, such as Lau Dan and Wayne Lai. In addition, Jason Pai reprised his breakthrough role as Kwok Ching, whom he previously portrayed in The Legend of the Condor Heroes and The Return of the Condor Heroes.
Bess Steed marries her childhood sweetheart in the early part of the 20th century and begins a life in the high society of Dallas, Texas. As time goes by, things do not work out as she expects. Her husband dies of influenza, and she finds that she must pick up and carry along with her life. She proves to be a strong, committed, and loving individual who attracts new loves into her life and finds that she can take good care of the old ones. Despite further tragedy in losing her oldest son, and a second marriage that is not all that she expects it to be she continues to survive as independently as she has discovered the courage to do so.
